And then following our encounter together...when we have consumed Christ to become who we say we are (Augustine), we are 'sent out to love and serve the lord' - and the Risen Christ looks out from our eyes and hears with our ears and feels with our hearts... and experiences life and touches people through us... amazing. I have been listening to our new Catholics speaking of their experience.. and the enormity of their joy, beyond description, and the sense of Christ present in/with them, again impossible to put into words. Astonishing intimacy.
