Monday morning, finding myself half-living and facing a week of almost intolerable demands on my energy, thinking not that I would rather be dead (!) but certainly, that I might just be better off in a comfortable 'tomb' somewhere, Ken through his words has indeed dragged me from my deathly state - and before I do anything else, I just might examine what I need, what we as a parish community need, and indeed what is staring us in the face - to be set free and set others free from our bound state - and it's the catechumen in our midst who is doing that work for us, if only we would just stop resisting and and recognise it.... I hope we in this little place will allow the scrutiny next Sunday to work its power! Thanks for this jolt out of half-living!
